New York

Joel, Andrew Wilson, Jacob Huff and I had a great trip to Boylston, NY last week. We had lots of fun - Rudd Family Reunion; silent auction; church softball game; fishing in various creeks, ponds, Redfield Reservoir, Erie Canal; baling hay for David Rudd – Maple syrup, fresh milk, fresh eggs for reward!; bonfire with hot dogs and marshmallows; fireworks; church dinner; woodchuck hunt; spending time with cousins; Chuck & Sue’s treat of dinner and the biggest “kid” ice cream cone on the face of the earth; tractor and motorcycle rides; visiting the Levacks and seeing their menagerie; driving on one lane country roads with grass growing in the middle and tree branches meeting over the top; playing with Kipie – Grandpa Rudd’s cockatiel; freedom to roam the woods and fields….. all in all a wonderful trip!

Aaah, the memories of summers past. It's wonderful to know another generation is enjoying the same wonderful experiences.

P.S. "Baling" :)
